Job summary

Tunceli Projects is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I in Romeoville, Illinois. This full-time role reports to the Quality Control Manager and focuses on inspecting materials, components, and final products to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company specs.

Responsibilities include maintaining inspection logs, generating reports, supporting production, and assisting in SOP development. The position requires English proficiency, multi-tasking, and independence in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Familiar with SQF 2000, HACCP, and GMP preferred.
• Experience in the plastic bottle industry or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
• Quality Management: Assure that employees operate within VPET USA INC. policies and procedures.
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective action to supervisor.
• Participate in SOPs for the inspection function.
• Provide support to production team when required.
• Visually and physically inspect materials and products against drawings and orders.
• Record compliance with quality standards and prepare inspection reports.
• Communicate quality issues with engineering and leads to resolve them.
