Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a full-time manufacturing role in North Carolina. You will conduct inspections, verify specifications, and document defects to support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in manufacturing or quality control, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills, with English and Spanish being a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or quality control experience is essential.
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections and internal audits throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Verify that all products meet company and customer specifications before they are released.
• Identify and document defects, process deviations, and quality issues for corrective action.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Track and report inspection outcomes, including customer rejects and product remakes, to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all quality inspection activities and findings.
• Support vendor certifications, participate in audits, and assist with calibration programs to ensure compliance.
• Encourage adherence to company quality standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Coach, train, and support employees on best practices related to quality and workplace safety.
• Report safety hazards, incidents, and any unsafe conditions observed during inspections.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Safety/Quality Manager.
