Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions in Mebane, NC seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a temporary role within our manufacturing client’s QA team. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods, using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure conformance.

This position emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with production and engineering to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in quality control or inspection, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical approach to identifying defects.
• Proficient in operating measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections at various manufacturing stages (receiving, in-process, final product).
• Compare product attributes to established benchmarks and specifications.
• Document and report non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Contribute to quality audits, process reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support development and maintenance of quality standards and inspection protocols.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory quality and safety policies.
