Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for an on-site California facility. The role ensures product conformance to customer requirements, GMP, and safety standards in a fast-paced production setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours including harvest weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State issued equivalency certificate is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, is required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime and weekends during harvest season is required.
• Individual should be self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with GMP, Food Safety and nuts preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for physical attributes and record findings.
• Document and record daily production information and equipment performance.
• Report any unexpected findings to supervisor.
• Assist with holding of defective product and sanitation duties as needed.
• Maintain data records on the computer system and adhere to safety rules.
• Follow all Food Safety & Sanitation rules and company policies.
