Job summary

Mastronardi Produce is seeking a Quality Control Associate to ensure products meet customer specifications and support QC inspections across shipping, receiving and production areas. You will assist with labeling, packaging and non-conforming product handling while maintaining high presentation standards.

Requirements include a 1-year college degree or 6 months related experience, strong English communication, and basic MS Office skills. Flexibility in hours and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Background check and pre-employment skills testing required.
• Confidentiality agreement to be signed on hire.
• Self-starter with ability to work flexible hours.
• Proficient in English with professional communication.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Spanish is a plus.
• Inspection/audit experience or software experience is a plus.
• Ability to read measuring devices (scales, calipers, ruler).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product meets or exceeds customer specifications.
• Validate correct product is pulled and shipped per allocation.
• Assist QC Supervisor to ensure inspections and labeling specs are followed.
• Work between shipping, receiving, and production to support QC inspections.
• Report any exceptions to customer specs to QC Supervisor.
• Send out Quality Issues emails for non-conforming product.
• Oversee floor operations when QC Supervisor is unavailable.
• Remember recent rejections and trends.
• Ensure packaging is presentable for customers.
• Maintain highest standards of presentation.
• Perform other QC related tasks or projects as assigned.
• Provide training as required.
