Job summary

Capital Brand Group, LLC is hiring three Quality Control Technicians for the CBP Building Maintenance & Operations contract, with two in the San Diego Sector and one in the El Centro Sector. The role involves hands-on inspections of building equipment and systems, documenting findings, and ensuring corrective actions are completed under the QC Manager.

Locations include San Diego, CA or El Centro, CA, with full-time, exempt status and a $75,000 yearly salary.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing quality control inspections on building equipment and systems.
• Working technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
• Read and comprehend technical manuals, drawings, diagrams, and manufacturer technical data.
• Strong written documentation skills.
• Ability to obtain CBP Background Investigation and travel daily among facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled quality control inspections on building equipment and systems across your assigned sector's locations
• Inspect preventive maintenance actions, minor repairs, and intermediate repairs against contract specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes
• Document inspection results with sufficient detail for the QC record: inspector name, date, scope inspected, deficiencies identified, corrective action, and correction date
• Verify corrective actions are completed and effective
• Support asset validation and condition assessment activities, including Initial Deficiency Report development during transition
• Confirm work order documentation in TRIRIGA is accurate and complete
• Immediately notify the QC Manager of any potential safety or hazardous condition
• Support the Government's QASP surveillance activities as directed
• Verify subcontractor work meets contract requirements
