Job summary

Pegasus Support Services, LLC is seeking a Safety & Quality Control Specialist for a CBP Facility in El Centro, California. The exempt role reports to the Project Quality Manager and ensures project work meets contract standards.

It involves maintaining the QCP, reviewing CACs, and advising on materials, certifications, and acceptance criteria. The position requires at least two years on an O&M contract over $5MM per year, STEM-related education preferred, and proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years as the Quality Control Specialist on an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract greater than $5MM per year.
• STEM associate's degree desired
• Military/civil service experience highly desirable
• Working knowledge of: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMBOK, TQM
• Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) desirable.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
• Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to problems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while attending to multiple tasks and demands
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspects, and assures project work meets contract standards.
• Maintain a Quality inspection system in accordance with FAR Clause 52.246-4, Inspection of Services - Fixed Price.
• Contribute to the implementation of the QCP and ensure supporting documentation is current and accurate.
• Advise on quality, certification, and acceptance criteria for materials, packages, and services.
• Follows up on open Corrective Action Reports and ensure they are properly closed out.
• Review subcontractor Quality Control Plans.

Safety & Quality Control Specialist - CBP Facility - El Centro, California

Summary: This is an exempt position which reports Directly to Project Quality Manager. Monitoring, inspects, and assures project work meets contract standards. Maintains a Quality inspection system in accordance with FAR Clause 52.246-4, Inspection of Services - Fixed Price. Contributes to the implementation of the QCP and ensures that all supporting documentation is kept current and accurate at all times. (I-Auditor) Continually reviews and suggests revisions to the QCP to meet contract objectives and to maintain the effectiveness. Reviews and administers subcontractor Quality Control Plans. Advise on quality, certification, and acceptance criteria for materials purchased, specialist packages, and services. Follows up on open Corrective Action Reports and ensure they are properly closed out.

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
