The Quality Control Inspector ensures products meet quality standards and customer specifications in a fabrication shop. This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, identifying defects, and maintaining detailed records to supports quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using measurement tools (e.g., tape measures, paint meters).
• Perform visual inspections of welds () to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Record and report inspection results, including defects and non-conformance issues.
• Verify compliance with blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with production staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a quality control role.
• Proficient in measurement tools and reading blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) .

Work Environment:

This is a full-time role in a fabrication shop, requiring adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE. Some overtime or shift work may be needed.
