Job summary

SlingShot Connections is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Morgan Hill, CA to ensure incoming materials and finished products meet quality standards through inspections, testing, and adherence to QA procedures.

The role requires 3+ years in a contract manufacturing environment, experience with cable/harness assemblies, and knowledge of ISO 9001/13485 and IPC-620. Strong reading of drawings and hands-on use of DVM, calipers, and micrometers are essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3+ years in contract manufacturing.
• Experience inspecting cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems and IPC-620 standards.
• Ability to read cable drawings, blueprints, and schematics; proficient with standard inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, parts, and components before production.
• Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks.
• Test products according to work orders and special instructions; document results.
• Maintain quality records and related documentation; support safe, clean work area.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
