Position Summary
The Crescent Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring production and operational processes to ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Regulatory, and Customer standards within a regulated cGMP environment. They are accountable for cGMP compliance and recording daily quality inspection activities to ensure the manufacture of top-quality, conforming products against customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
- Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe
- Ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment across all workspaces and surrounding areas

- Participate in talent selection, development, and recognition processes
- Train and mentor quality staff, recognizing and developing talent to meet their potential

- Support and review material and workflow processes to ensure design quality and maximize efficiency

- Identify and support continuous improvement efforts
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including training personnel for coverage and progression planning
Quality
- Support compliance with Crescent QMS and ensure quality programs meet regulatory and customer requirements
- Assist with internal and external audits and visits
- Monitor and report on Quality KPIs
- Participate in project startup to ensure quality considerations
- Support new production specifications and staff training for quality assurance
- Support lean manufacturing and 5S activities
- Review batch records and support batch release processes

Qualifications, Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Computer or tablet proficiency

Qualifications
- Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience
