Job summary

Century Mold in Pulaski, TN is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure product conformance and data integrity on the shop floor. You will perform dimensional measurements using micrometers, calipers, RAM, optical profilers, and profilometers, interpreting GD&T from engineering drawings and monitoring quality records.

The role requires an associate degree or related technical training, plus familiarity with GD&T and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two-year technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with ANSTAT software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position.
• Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
• Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time.
• Selects products at specified intervals and performs dimensional measurements utilizing micrometers, calipers, RAM, optical and profilometer as defined on QCP and monitor sheet.
• Basic interpretation of QCP and engineering drawings, and interpretation of GD&T.
• Record and evaluate inspection data to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Complete non-conforming material report and place product on hold where necessary.
• Inform appropriate personnel of all quality problems.
• Signs off product on production floor.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; ANSTAT software; GD&T; SPC and Variation; Ability to learn new software as needed.
