Mack Hils Metal Fabrication in Missouri is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections on parts using a Faro Arm (CMM), tape measures, calipers, and height gauges, and to document results.

You will record rejections, support root cause analysis with initial corrective action recommendations, and ensure inspection records and PPAP/IMDS documentation are maintained; strong English communication and proficiency with Excel/Word required.

Qualifications

  • Read blueprints and job packets with accuracy.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, MSDS, orders and procedures.
  • Follow oral and written instructions precisely.
  • Operate computers; proficiency in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Check parts with Faro Arm and measurement tools.
  • Perform daily spot checks on the production floor.

Job description

Summary

Mack Hils Metal Fabrication’s Quality Control Inspector is someone that performs inspections, spot checks, and keeps records of all inspections.

Essential Functions
  • Check parts with Faro Arm (CMM Machine), tape measure, calipers & height gage.
  • Performing daily spot checks on the production floor.
  • Accurately document the result of inspections.
  • Record all rejections from in house production and maintain records.
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible Corrective Action & Preventive Action.
  • Implement inspection procedures.
  • Complete PPAP & IMDS and maintain records.
  • Must have good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Assist with maintenance of the Inspection tool calibration records.
