We are searching for an experienced Quality Control Inspector at our Irving, TX facility.
Principle Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Report daily scrap and rejects to management team.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Reads and interprets specifications and part prints.
Performs First Article Inspections, ISO audits and investigations. Ensures ISO and quality guidelines are always followed.
Reviews and document customer returns and write corrective action reports.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must possess:
Minimum of 3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
High energy 'on the floor and willingness to jump into details to identify needed process improvements.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong follow through.
Ability to drive the organization and implement creative solutions to recurring issues.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Experience with Hand-held measurement devices include micrometers, calipers, and alignment gauges, and electronic inspection equipment.
Ability to work independently.
