Job summary

Essity in Dover, DE is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support testing and analysis of products in our facility, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance. You will assist in executing routine tests, maintain lab equipment, and record data accurately.

Schedule: 1st shift 6:30AM-3:00PM, Monday to Friday. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a global leader in health and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Working experience preferred.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quantitative and qualitative chemical or biological analysis to verify process conditions and compile data.
• Evaluate the physical characteristics of raw materials and products.
• Record results, perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Set up equipment and mix chemical solutions according to instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment.

About the Role

To support the testing and analysis of products in a laboratory setting, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves assisting in the execution of routine tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, and recording data accurately.

What You Will Do

• Evaluate the physical characteristics of raw materials and products.
• Record results, perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations.
• Follow instructions and checklists to set-up equipment and apparatus and mix chemical solutions for use in tests.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order.

Starting pay begins at $16.41 per hour + full benefits, with the opportunity for higher pay based on experience and qualifications
