Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials, customer-supplied materials, returned goods, and special components.
- Conduct finished goods, start-up, and in-process inspections.
- Monitor production areas as directed.
- Measure and record data on inspection forms or job cards.
- Perform testing and record data for statistical process control (SPC) during manufacturing as needed.
- Report non-conforming products or out-of-control processes to the Quality Control Supervisor.
- Communicate test failures or other concerns to Manufacturing Engineers.
- Set up computer programs for label printing on cutting lines.
- Assist Engineering with experimental testing.
- Enter finished goods inspection data into the BMS.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good documentation practices.
- Understanding of part workmanship.
- Ability to handle numbers.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with micrometers, computers, testing equipment, and electronic balances.
- Experience with Excel.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
