Job summary

Chrome Hearts is hiring for a Quality Control / Hardware role in Los Angeles, where you will inspect raw apparel materials, install hardware on hoodies, and ensure quality standards across production. Responsibilities

  • Handle and inspect blank apparel pieces as raw materials.
  • Reference garment spec sheets and measure garments for grading and quality control.
  • Install silver grommets and other hardware on pullover hoodies.
  • Identify and separate garments not meeting quality standards.
  • Package garments and return them to storage.
  • Fold garments in bundles by count (sweaters, sweats, leggings).
  • Mark hoodies for hardware placement.
  • Apply iron-on fusing at marked locations.
  • Create puncture holes and secure grommets on hoodies.
  • Maintain organized production processes and track inventory counts.
  • Assist team in meeting daily and weekly production goals.
  • Maintain an organized, detail-oriented, proactive routine.
  • Keep work area clean and follow safety protocols.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Quality Control / Hardware position is responsible for aiding in the quality check process of raw materials for our Chrome Hearts apparel as well as the manual addition of Chrome Hearts custom hardware onto apparel noted by the work order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Handle and inspect blank pieces of apparel as raw materials.
  • Reference garment spec sheets and physically measure garments to ensure correct grading and quality control.
  • Install silver grommets and other hardware on pullover hoodies.
  • Identify and separate any garments that do not meet quality standards.
  • Properly package garments and return them to their designated storage.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking. Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. This work will involve a variety of hand operations requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention. The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
