Job summary

You will lead cross-functional continuous improvement activities, using FMEA and GPAC-V tools to address failures and trends while maintaining high standards of quality across molding, processes, and packaging. Qualifications

• Experience applying quality tools in manufacturing
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 and AIAG standards
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve quality problems
• Experience with automotive supplier quality environments

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze and resolve production and/or new model quality problems through audits and trend analysis.
• Act as liaison between internal and external groups for quality issues while upholding customer quality standards.
• Establish and monitor quality standards to ensure consistent production quality.
• Prepare PQCTs using FMEA and GPAC-V to address potential failure modes.
• Participate in process audits to address issues like mold modifications and deviations.
• Document problem tracking and monthly performance reports to monitor production area performance.
• Analyze monthly data to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
• Coordinate packaging trials with relevant departments to meet quality standards.
• Train and mentor new engineers in hands-on environments.
• Address other assigned issues as they arise.
