Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion seeks a Quality Control Engineer/Inspector in Aiken, SC at the Savannah River Site. You will provide QC support to operations and project teams, performing inspections, surveillance, and documentation to verify conformance with criteria.

Responsibilities include identifying nonconformances, coordinating resolutions, reviewing supplier/subcontractor QC documentation, and ensuring traceability of materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with practical experience in predictive maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical discipline with practical experience in predictive maintenance.
• Associate's degree with practical experience in predictive maintenance.
• High School Diploma/GED with practical experience in predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, witness, test and document construction activities for conformance.
• Identify and document nonconformances.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve quality issues and report status.
• Review supplier/subcontractor QC documentation for traceability and spec compliance.
• Perform visual inspections of received materials/equipment for damage and traceability.
• Conduct final walk-downs to verify completion and documentation.

BSc Engineering/Science-related

BSc Non-technical with related experience

AS/AA with related experience

HS Diploma/GED with related experience
