Quality Control (QC) Specialist – Engineering & EPC

Location: Houston, TX 77041

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Specialist to provide quality control setup and support during the tendering and execution phases of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. This position will help ensure contractual and regulatory quality requirements are met while supporting successful project execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The specialist will work closely with engineering, project, and business teams to identify quality issues, analyze data, recommend process improvements, and capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) experience is highly preferred but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide QC setup and support during the tendering and execution phases of EPC projects.
• Oversee fulfillment of contractual and regulatory quality requirements.
• Support project execution with a focus on quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and communicate flaws or gaps in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes.
• Recommend improvements to quality processes and execution methods.
• Gather, analyze, and communicate quality-related data to colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Capture and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in project execution.
• Collaborate as a contributing member of the project team.
• Manage work goals and deliverables that typically span one to three months, with results generally realized immediately or within one to two months.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; OR
• High school diploma/GED with at least four (4) years of Quality experience.
• Ability to work onsite five (5) days per week in Houston, TX 77041.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

• Welding quality or inspection experience.
• Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) background.
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience within engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or EPC environments.
• Experience supporting quality requirements during project tendering and/or execution.
