Job summary

nTech, a global energy technology leader, seeks a Vendor Quality Specialist to serve as the primary on-site quality authority at a key vendor facility. You will govern fabrication, welding, coating, and NDE/NDT testing, and sign off on QC documents and reports.

This on-site role requires five days per week and possible local travel between nearby vendor locations. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Oil & Gas QC is required, with strong NDE/NDT certification background.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality).
  • Proven quality oversight or QC inspection experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong practical background in welding inspection and fabrication governance.
  • Technical familiarity and certification background in NDE/NDT, including UT, MPI, LPI.
  • Ability to perform Radiography Interpretation for weld quality verification.
  • Ability to work fully on-site 5 days a week and travel locally between nearby vendor locations if required.

Work with a global leader in energy technology and oilfield services as a Vendor Quality Specialist. In this key role, you will act as the primary on-site representative managing quality governance, fabrication oversight, and NDE sign-offs at a premier supplier site supporting critical global projects.

  • Oversee, govern, and verify vendor activities across fabrication, welding, coating, and NDE/NDT testing.

  • Review, verify, and sign off on quality control documentation, test reports, and compliance records on-site.

  • Ensure all vendor processes adhere to applicable industry quality standards and project specs.

  • Interface directly with project teams and global quality managers regarding site progress and quality findings.

  • Manage quality oversight across a primary site, with potential expansion to a second local facility in close proximity.



Required Qualifications:

  • Technical familiarity and certification background in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE/NDT), including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI).

  • Ability to perform Radiography Interpretation for weld quality verification.

  • Ability to work fully on-site 5 days a week and travel locally between nearby vendor locations if required.
