Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting the QC Manager in the gathering, recording and analyzing of quality data as well as assisting in the creating and maintenance of all ISO, customer and company required documents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create Standard Operating Procedures as required.
  • Create flowcharts to define various processes as necessary.
  • Update and maintain the documentation of ISO forms and procedures.
  • Assist in performing internal ISO audits as required.
  • Perform internal quality system audits as required.
  • Assist in the gathering, documenting, and recording of quality data.
  • Create various charts/graphs as necessary to assist in the analyzing of quality data and statistics.
  • Help to ensure all company and customers’ required audits are performed and recorded as required.
  • Ensure that QC/ISO documentation is available, current, and maintained as required.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • SHIFT: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 1+ year of continuous work experience with no more than 2 employers
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
  • Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Deadline and detail oriented

Physical Working Conditions:

  • Extended periods of standing, kneeling and bending.
  • Work in varying climates as well as be exposed to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, rain, and other conditions
