Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Quality Coordinator in Georgia to conduct product quality monitoring within a large manufacturing environment. You will coach operations on quality methods, perform routine audits, and manage vendor quality, with a focus on sustaining plant-wide quality performance.

You will lead quality checks, document testing, and drive corrective actions including QIRs and root-cause analyses. Onsite, 12-hour rotating swing shifts with overtime opportunities, travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
• Moderate computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, PowerBI).
• ERP experience—SAP, Oracle, etc.
• Knowledge of daily audits of plant operations and product quality monitoring.
• Experience with Quality Incident Report (QIR).
• Capable of raw material inspections.
• Familiar with plant policies prioritizing safety, quality, environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with plant personnel.
• Time management and prioritization of work.
• 12-hour rotating Swing shifts; overtime possible; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to plant policies prioritizing safety, quality, and environmental rules.
• Champion the 16 Quality System Elements (QSE) as the plant Quality Management System.
• Monitor and report key process indicators in daily production meetings.
• Carry out periodic quality checks during shifts.
• Maintain quality instrumentation and equipment.
• Collect finished goods samples and manage retain sample area.
• Perform incoming raw material inspections when required.
• Assist with changeovers, line clearance, shutdowns, and start-ups.
• Ensure testing and documentation during plant trials/qualifications.
• Initiate Quality Incident Reports to capture non-conformances.
• Follow QA incident and non-conformance procedures; provide root cause guidance.
