Job summary

AstrixTechnology LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to test products, support manufacturing excellence, and uphold GMP standards for well-known brands. You’ll gain hands-on lab experience with advanced analytics in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This contract-to-permanent role operates on a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10pm–6:30am). Requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science and 0–2 years’ lab experience, plus basic wet chemistry and GC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related science.
• 0–2 years of lab or quality experience; FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of wet chemistry techniques and analytical instruments (e.g., GC).

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP and safety procedures per plant standards and SDS guidelines.
• Perform testing on bulk, finished products, and packaging materials; record results in SAP.
• Report and document any out-of-specification (OOS) results and communicate as needed.
• Approve and release bulk products in SAP in a timely manner.
• Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of production documentation.
• Support process improvement and quality initiatives through testing and collaboration.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, housekeeping standards, and product retains.
