Actalent in South Plainfield, NJ, is seeking a Chemical Technician for the 3rd shift to support a fast-paced QC laboratory. You will perform chemical testing, ensure ISO 9001 and GMP compliance, and drive continuous improvement in lab and production processes.

The role requires GMP experience, wet chemistry skills, and the ability to lead safety meetings while maintaining accurate data in the quality management system. This contract-to-hire position is onsite in South Plainfield, NJ.

Qualifikationen

• GMP guidelines experience in a laboratory setting.
• Hands-on chemical testing in a QC lab.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and raw material testing.
• Able to work a fixed 3rd shift 22:00–06:30.
• Accurate data entry and review in QM and QC databases.
• Identify errors and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Prepare safety topics and lead weekly safety meetings.
• Ensure product quality and ISO 9001 compliance through tests.
• Perform various laboratory tests as needed.
• Monitor sample status and release results timely.
• Identify issues and communicate corrective actions.
• Enter new customer and product specs into QM system.
• Validate certificates of analysis from QM system.
• Initiate spec requests when specs are missing.
• Monitor raw materials and release when specs are met.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve raw material issues.
