Job summary

Solésence Beauty Science in Romeoville, IL, is hiring a full-time hourly Quality Control Technician to perform daily QC tasks, material testing, and data management in a lab setting. You will use ICP-OES, UV/Vis, FTIR, GC, XRF, and wet chemistry tools to evaluate products, review batch records, and release lotions and dispersions within tight timelines.

Requirements include 0–2 years in a chemical/pharmaceutical lab, a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or technical field.
• 0–2 years’ experience in chemical/pharmaceutical laboratory.
• Experience with ICP-OES and lab instrumentation is a plus.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with cGMP guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC tests on products and materials at various production stages.
• Inspect lines and materials against quality criteria.
• Test and release lotions, dispersions, and API per procedures.
• Manage batch records, labels, and data entry with lab software.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and external calibrations.
• Ensure clean lab and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Communicate results to supervisor and team; support sampling.
• Assist with stability and microbial testing as needed.
