NFI Industries is seeking a Quality Control Checker to ensure accurate checking or counting of products for inbound and outbound freight. The role focuses on verifying quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing for outbound shipments, with reporting responsibilities for shortages and mis-shipments.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar position, strong analytical and math skills, excellent communication, and the ability to stand for long periods while working flexible hours

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze quantities, quality, and labeling accuracy.
• Capacity to work independently and follow management instructions.

Responsabilités

• Ensures quantity, quality, labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments to supervisors.
• Checks contents of orders as filled by Order Selectors.
• Compares order details with customer requirements to ensure completeness.

Overview

The Quality Control Checker is responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound freight.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently
• High school education or equivalent
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Performs duties as instructed by management
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
