Job summary

NFI is seeking a Quality Control Checker to ensure accurate counting and verification of all products for inbound and outbound freight. You will focus on maintaining quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing accuracy for outbound orders.

Responsibilities include reporting shortages or damages, validating contents against orders, and ensuring shipments are complete and correct as prepared by Order Selectors. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in similar position.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.

• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.


• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position


• Computer applications experience using MS Office


• Excellent oral and written communications skills


• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills


• Excellent customer service skills


• Able to work independently


• High school education or equivalent


• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction


• Performs duties as instructed by management


• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed


• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
