Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Quality Control Checker to accurately check or count all products for inbound and outbound freight. The role ensures quantity, quality, labeling and addressing of outbound orders, and reports shortages or damages.

Responsibilities include checking contents of orders, comparing against customer orders, and ensuring shipments are complete and correctly processed by Order Selectors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• MS Office proficiency and basic computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and perform basic mathematics.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Check outbound and inbound orders for quantity, quality, labeling, and address.
• Report shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Verify contents against customer orders and completed by Order Selectors.
• Ensure shipments are complete and correctly packed.

Overview

TheQuality Control Checker is responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound freight.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently
• High school education or equivalent
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Performs duties as instructed by management
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
