NFI Industries in Port Wentworth, GA is seeking a Quality Control Checker responsible for accurate checking and counting of all products for inbound and outbound freight. You will verify quantity, quality, labeling and addressing, report shortages or damages, and ensure shipments match customer orders.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work independently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Capable of working independently.

Overview

The Quality Control Checker is responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound freight.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently
• High school education or equivalent
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Performs duties as instructed by management
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
