Job summary

Blue Heron is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to support the QAQC team on Elite Projects. The role emphasizes managing consultant data, RFIs, submittals, and budgets while coordinating BIM/CAD deliverables and internal design processes.

The position requires 4+ years in residential/hospitality architecture, plus a degree in architecture. Strong communication and multi-project management are essential for timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of residential or hospitality architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, and field issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and catalog consultant data, advising on schedules, workload, fees, and expertise.
• Provide design compliance liaison during construction.
• Support construction administration with timely RFIs, field bulletins, and submittals.
• Coordinate consultant drawings and clash detection with BIM/model teams.
• Assist Senior Project Design Manager with consultant contracting and coordination of deliverables across disciplines.
• Lead budget development with estimating/purchasing teams.
• Assist with permit processes and admin duties for design teams.
• Provide strong design, graphic, and verbal presentation support.
• Assist in daily office activities as needed.
