Job summary

Rheem is hiring a Quality Control auditor to ensure SOPs are followed safely and with integrity within the Replacement Parts Division. The morning shift runs Monday to Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, at an hourly rate of $20.50.

Responsibilities include performing audits, communicating findings to team and leadership, monitoring production and shipping to meet quality standards, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience as Quality Auditor Technician preferred.
• Basic reading and writing comprehension.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to perform basic math, rates, ratios, and percentages, and basic statistics.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Job description

The Quality Control (QC) auditor is responsible for ensuring all Replacement Parts Division (RPD) standard operating procedures are followed accurately, safely, and with integrity.

Morning Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

Hourly rate: $20.50/hr

Responsibilities

Perform all job duties safely and in compliance with federal, state, and Rheem regulations.

Complete all department audits at intervals provided by your supervisor.

Communicate audit findings clearly and effectively with team members and leadership.

Monitor production and shipping processes at various stages to ensure quality standards are met.

Collaborate with team members and leadership to maintain product quality in accordance with RPS Standards.

Report any quality concerns to leadership.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements

Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

Support others with positive behavior and a team-based mindset

Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings, including customers and other employees of the organization

Must be able to work independently at a productive pace, seeking guidance when necessary

Qualifications

Minimum of o ne (1) year of experience as a Quality Auditor Technician or equivalent training/experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required.

The ability to demonstrate basic reading and writing comprehension .

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) within 6 months of hire.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including rate, ratio, and percentage, and basic statistical analysis.

Strong verbal and written communications skills; able to express ideas professionally and effectively in the common language.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company.
