Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking a Quality Control Associate to inspect warehouse food products and ensure they meet high quality standards. The role reports to the Quality Supervisor and emphasizes food safety within a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse.

You will perform QC audits, verify inbound deliveries, and maintain accurate records while supporting the operations team to deliver safe, affordable groceries to customers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.
• Good verbal communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, clean warehouse by following procedures and regulations.
• Performs QC audits on produce and grocery items in the warehouse.
• Verifies quality and accuracy of inbound deliveries including temperature checks.
• Documents records of products, including discarded/damaged items.
• Escalates food safety or quality issues to lead/supervisor.
• Manages time and priorities to minimize downtime in receiving/production.
