Job summary

Misfits Market in Tracy, CA is seeking a Quality Control Lead to perform quality checks at all touch-points in the product's journey through the warehouse, including inbound, storage, production line, and outbound boxes.

You will review study data, ensure food safety, and support the operations team under the Quality Supervisor, focusing on delivering high-quality, affordable groceries while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience or comfort working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
• Strong verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to.
• Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with all state and local regulations for a food-based facility.
• Performs frequent QC inspections on produce and grocery products throughout the warehouse, removes and documents any items that fail inspection.
