Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island seeks an Associate Quality Control professional to execute and review analytical testing in our cGMP laboratory. The role is based in Rhode Island, operating an administrative shift, Monday through Friday, under the mentorship of the hiring manager.

The Raw Material Centralized Testing team provides analytical expertise using HPLC, GC and ICPMS to ensure high-quality raw materials for Amgen products, supporting compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must have strong laboratory documentation skills and cGMP awareness.
• Experience in a fast-paced GxP laboratory is preferred.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and maintain meticulous records.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines, cGMPs and regulatory requirements.
• Generate complete, accurate laboratory documentation using electronic systems.
• Ensure facilities and processes follow cGMP practices and regulations.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Review and approve assays, documents and records.
• Support continual improvement initiatives.
• Alert management to quality, compliance, supply and safety risks.
• Participate in laboratory investigations.
• Perform general laboratory housekeeping.
