Job summary

Total Mortgage is seeking a Quality Control Associate to work with the Quality Control Manager on pre- and post-closing QC, investor post purchase requests, mortgage insurance company and investor audit responses.

You will review and clear QC exceptions, monitor reports, support target testing, and assist with other duties. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years underwriting experience are preferred.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant field experience.
• 3–5 years’ related experience; underwriting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Update and monitor tracking and trending reports from loan file reviews.
• Review and clear post-purchase audit requests from investors, mortgage insurance companies and agencies.

Purpose and Scope

Functions: General

• Review and clear pre- and post-closing quality control exceptions for Total Mortgage;
• Update and monitor tracking and trending reports from loan file reviews;
• Review and clear post-purchase audit requests from investors, mortgage insurance companies and agencies;
• Assist with target testing and monitoring based on quality control findings;
• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Hours for position

M-F 9am-5pm
This position may require frequent additional hours, at times on a daily basis; must be available to work additional hours on short notice as determined by management to meet customer service and investor requirements
