Job summary

GALLS seeks a Quality Assurance Associate to ensure items, orders, and systems meet established quality standards by conducting audits and identifying non-conformances. The role includes verifying order accuracy after personalization and before shipping, with a focus on attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

You will Develop and maintain production quality reports, communicate with supervision, and contribute to process improvements while supporting teamwork and flexibility in duties.

Qualifications

  • Able to use a PC.
  • Ability to lift and move 25lb totes regularly throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours a shift.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures items, orders, and systems meet established quality standards by conducting audits, identifying nonconformances, and recommending improvements.
  • Examines and compares merchandise against the order ticket specifications once personalization is complete to verify the order has been completed properly before forwarding to Shipping for packing.
  • Attention to detail, reading and interpreting order tickets, and a strong commitment to quality are essential.
  • Assists the department in achieving the accuracy goal of less than 2%.
  • Develops and maintains daily, weekly, and other reports related to Production quality.
  • Communicates with the supervisor on problems and needs.
  • Develops and relays improvements to the supervisor.
  • Promotes teamwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
