Job summary

GALLS is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Tampa-area store to fulfill and ship orders accurately while upholding safety and organization. Training is provided to learn processes and systems.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will perform packing, labeling, inventory management, and loading duties, ensuring quality and timely delivery of customer orders.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred; GALLS will train.
• Proficiency with WMS systems and MS Excel preferred.
• English reading/writing/speaking required for instructions.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Highly organized with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment meeting daily goals.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods; reasonable accommodations possible.

Responsibilities

• Print and sort pick tickets; align with packing list and shipping labels.
• Audit orders to ensure 100% quality.
• Construct boxes to order size; attach docs and labels.
• Fill void space and seal boxes for shipment.
• Manifest and load orders for shipment.
• Sort by location/product number; label and restock.
• Follow Manager directions and perform tasks as assigned.
• Maintain tidy, safe workspace; restock supplies.
• Work safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Receive contracts/packages; sort and store per procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and levels.
• Collaborate with team to achieve productivity goals.

As a Warehouse Associate at a GALLS Retail Store (Branch), you are responsible for all aspects of back-of-house functions. You will ensure that received orders are fulfilled and outbound orders are shipped on time and accurately, while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner. GALLS will train in all the processes required to succeed in this role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Print and sort pick tickets to fulfill orders and match up with packing list and carton shipping label
• Audit complete orders to assure 100% quality
• Construct boxes according to size required for order and place appropriate documentation and label on/in box
• Fill void space in boxes to prepare for shipment and assure box is properly sealed
• Manifest and load orders for shipment
• Sort products by location, product number and description. Label product and restock product
• Perform job task as assigned by Manager
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Restock workstation with appropriate supplies as needed
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Comply with company, OSHA, and other applicable regulations to assure a safe workplace
• Receive packages specific to contracts and individuals and sort and store according to procedures
• Work to maintain appropriate inventory levels and accuracy
• Work as a team to accomplish all productivity goals efficiently and accurately

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Experience working in shipping/receiving preferred. Galls will train!
• Computer proficiency, and ability to learn new skills - prior Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to understand and execute instructions for daily tasks and to orders
• Ability to complete basic math to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
• Highly organized and strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity standards
• Willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
