Job summary

Brayman Construction seeks a Quality Control Technician Apprentice to support the Montgomery Locks and Dam project in Monaca, PA. No prior QC or construction experience is required; you will learn through on‑the‑job training and earn certifications.

You will assist with field testing, documentation, and QC procedures, while traveling to project sites and training facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• No previous quality control or construction experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; related coursework helpful.
• On-the-job training with industry certification development will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Quality Control personnel and project supervision with daily QC activities.
• Perform and document field testing and inspections under the direction of experienced QC personnel.
• Assist with testing and document concrete and its constituent materials (aggregates, cement, water, admixtures).
• Learn testing procedures, documentation requirements, and quality control processes.
• Assist in completing testing and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Use Microsoft Office or similar applications to document and organize QC information.
• Travel to project locations or training facilities as needed for training and certification.
