Job summary

Brayman Construction seeks a Quality Control Technician Apprentice for the Montgomery Locks and Dam project in Monaca, PA. No prior QC or construction experience is required; candidates should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Brayman will provide training toward QC certifications.

You will support field testing, document QC activities, and develop skills in concrete testing and quality control processes, with potential travel for training and site work.

• Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Brayman provides support and training toward QC testing certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support QC personnel and project supervision with daily QC activities.
• Perform and document field testing and inspections under supervision.
• Assist with testing and documenting concrete materials (aggregates, cement, water, admixtures).
• Learn testing procedures, documentation requirements, and QC processes.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of testing and QC activities.
• Use Microsoft Office to organize QC information.
