Job summary

Syensqo is a chemistry-focused company seeking a Quality Lab Technician to perform accurate QC testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in a rigorous, regulated environment.

You will document results, support continuous QC improvements, and help maintain certifications. AScience background and practical lab skills are essential, with growth and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience; Associates or Bachelor's in Chemistry preferred.
• Proficiency in general laboratory skills: data analysis, pipetting, safety and cleanliness, chemistry understanding, lab instrumentation testing.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and reproducible QC testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Safeguard against non-conforming materials reaching customers by completing all QC tests as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation from all laboratory tests.
• Participate in continuous improvement of QC processes and the work environment.
• Complete tasks related to HSE, Quality, and Operations Improvement plans to support site objectives.
• Support maintenance of site certifications (e.g., ISO, GMP, AS9100).
• Carry out additional testing and tasks as assigned by laboratory supervision.

The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for performing accurate and safe quality control testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet all specifications and regulatory standards.

• Safeguard against non-conforming materials reaching customers by performing all assigned QC testing asdirected.

• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of quality control (QC) processes and the overall workenvironment.
• Complete tasks related to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality, and Operation Improvement plans tosupport site objectives.
• Support the maintenance of site certifications (e.g., ISO, GMP, AS9100).
• Carry out additional testing and tasks as assigned by laboratory supervision.

You will bring:

• High School diploma or GED, with 1 - 2 years of related experience; Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in general laboratory skills: Data analysis, pipetting, safety and cleanliness in a lab, understandingof chemistry, and experience in physical/wet-chemistry/instrumentation testing.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with local staff.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a small office environment where coworkers assist each other as needed.
• Familiarity with basic scientific principles and laboratory experience.

• Competitive salary and benefits package
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we mayultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Additional information:

This position operates on a rotational shift schedule featuring 12-hour shifts, alternating between day shifts (6:30am–6:30 pm) and night shifts (6:30 pm–6:30 am). Flexibility to work both day and night shifts is required tosupport continuous operations.
