Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Analyst in Missouri to perform physical property testing and wet chemistry on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a high‑throughput GMP/GDP environment.

The role emphasizes chromatographic methods (GC, HPLC), data integrity in LIMS, and collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of laboratory processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree minimum in Chemistry preferred, or in Biochemistry, Biology

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures.
• Conduct physical property testing (viscosity, pH, TOC water) and chromatographic analyses (GC, HPLC).
• Prioritize daily testing to support bulk formula batches and line samples in a high-throughput lab.
• Prepare samples for chromatographic analysis and manage data in LIMS for results and dispositions.
• Review records for GDP and GMP compliance and support investigations into OOS/OOT results and customer complaints.
• Assist with instrument qualification, validation, and calibration activities, and participate in method transfer protocols.
• Contribute to SOP creation and updates, support stability studies, and coordinate with internal customers to ensure smooth operations.
