Job summary

Advanced Group is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to support analytical testing and quality operations in a regulated manufacturing environment in Frederick, MD. You will perform product testing, review laboratory data, and assist with investigations to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a scientific bachelor's degree and experience in QC labs, with knowledge of GMP and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in Quality Control, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements, laboratory documentation, and quality systems.
• Experience with analytical methods such as flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, cell-based assays, or related techniques.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using cell-based assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and related methods.
• Support in-process, release, and quality control testing through data review and analysis.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with investigations, deviations, OOS results, and root cause analyses.
• Author or update SOPs, protocols, and quality records.
• Support GMP compliance, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
