Johnson Matthey is seeking a Quality Control Analyst in Smithfield, PA to perform analytical testing on materials and products, prepare reagents, and monitor quality standards. The role includes maintaining instruments, documenting results, and supporting new methods while ensuring compliance with quality systems.

You should have a chemistry degree, familiarity with ICP/XRF, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. The position offers hybrid work and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ICP and/or XRF analytical techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills within a laboratory environment.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and communicate technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to support quality standards.
• Prepare chemical reagents and standards and ensure accurate sample preparation.
• Review analytical results, identify out-of-control conditions and escalate issues where required.
• Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
• Support the introduction of new analytical methods and continuous improvement activities.
• Train colleagues on laboratory procedures while maintaining accurate quality documentation.
