Role Overview

We\'re hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and elevate the quality systems that ensure every Rho product meets our high standards for safety, identity, purity, and strength.

This is a high-impact role focused on cGMP compliance, contract manufacturer oversight, finished product release, and continuous quality improvement. You\'ll partner closely with our Science & Innovation, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, and step into an established Quality Management System with room to sharpen, scale, and lead.

Your north star will be simple: protect the consumer, protect the brand, and run a quality function that scales with us.

What You\'ll Own

• Day-to-day leadership of Rho\'s Quality Management System and 21 CFR Part 111 compliance posture
• Contract manufacturer and ingredient supplier oversight
• Finished product release decisions and lot disposition
• Deviations, complaints, adverse events, and CAPA
• Label and packaging quality controls
• Audit readiness across FDA, retailer, and third-party certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Rho\'s QMS, including SOPs, document control, change control, internal audits, and CAPA, ensuring compliance with 21 CFR Part 111, FDA labeling requirements, and FTC substantiation standards
• Serve as the primary quality contact for contract manufacturers, co-packers, and ingredient suppliers, and maintain Quality Agreements and the Supplier Qualification Program
• Review and approve Master Manufacturing Records, Batch Production Records, and Certificates of Analysis, and act as the documented Quality Unit signatory on lot disposition
• Manage deviations, OOS investigations, consumer and trade complaints, adverse event reporting, CAPA, and recall readiness
• Partner with Science & Innovation, Marketing, and Regulatory on label, packaging, and claims review against substantiation files
• Coordinate third-party laboratory testing and oversee retain and reserve sample programs
• Train cross-functional teams on GMP basics and quality-relevant SOPs, and report quality KPIs to leadership
• Travel periodically to manufacturing and supplier sites for audits and issue resolution

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of progressive quality assurance experience in dietary supplements, functional foods, or natural products
• Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 111 demonstrated through hands-on application
• Experience overseeing contract manufacturers and managing Quality Agreements
• Experience reviewing and approving MMRs, BPRs, COAs, and specifications, and acting as a decision-maker on lot release
• Strong written documentation skills with a high standard for clarity and audit-readiness
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting an FDA inspection, retailer audit, or third-party GMP certification audit
• Familiarity with NSF, USP, Informed Sport, or similar third-party certification programs
• ASQ certification (CQA, CMQ/OE) or equivalent
• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field; equivalent professional experience is fully considered
