Job summary

WNA, headquartered in the Charlotte Metro Area, seeks a Quality Manager for its Denver, NC plant to develop and drive the quality program across focus areas, ensuring products meet standards before market. The role requires hands-on leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Applicants should have 5+ years in QA for consumer products, a technical engineering degree, and proven ability to implement QMS and lean improvements. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in consumer product manufacturing.
• Experience with steel products preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing and field service activities.
• Proven collaboration with contract manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and customers.
• Leadership with executive-level reporting and strong communication.
• Experience with quality management systems and quality audits.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
• Teach and drive root cause analysis and action tracking across the company.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS for production and field activities.
• Determine, track, and improve critical KPIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce cost of poor quality.
• Define and execute quality goals, policies, procedures, and systems.
• Establish processes, provide training, and ensure site-wide adherence to standards.
• Partner with Purchasing to define supplier quality requirements and oversee CAPA.
• Serve as liaison with customers to ensure specs compliance and resolve quality issues.
• Lead quality inspection and product release programs for materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Oversee internal/external reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver employee quality training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and other standards.
