Qualifications

  • Full sight and fully ambulatory are mandatory.
  • Experience in quality control tasks preferred.

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK

Pay:

Competitive pay based on education and/or experience, plus shift/weekend differential, with a $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Days:

Sunday through Wednesday

Hours:

12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (EVENINGS)

Position:

Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting test results to ensure a safe blood supply. Resolve or delegate problems as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution.
Special Physical Requirements:
  • Must have full sight.
  • Hearing impairment requiring a hearing aid(s) is acceptable.
  • Must be fully ambulatory.
  • Heavy lifting required.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform all primary and secondary responsibilities of QC Laboratory Technician I.
  • Complete device Investigation Forms promptly.
  • Maintain Critical Equipment master list.
  • Monitor and ensure equipment QC and maintenance are performed.
  • Assist with projects and report issues to Lead Technician/Quality Control Testing Lab Supervisor.
  • Maintain up-to-date testing records for QC reporting.
  • Order supplies as needed.
  • Follow directions from lab leads/supervisor without conflict.
  • Collaborate effectively with technicians in other departments.
  • Work efficiently according to training standards.
  • Perform tasks according to SOP standards.
