Job summary

PFSbrands is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Director of Quality and R&D in supplier quality, product development, and QA initiatives. You will ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company standards while maintaining the QMS and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include inspections, audits, labeling reviews, and environmental monitoring across manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with operations to uphold GMP compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Quality experience preferred in food/beverage manufacturing.
• 2–3 years in a related role preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQF Food Safety Code or ability to learn.
• HACCP certification or ability to become certified within six months.
• Capable of writing detailed reports and managing multiple tasks.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learning other systems.
• Excellent communication with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound product and packaging inspections, quarantine and rejection processes.
• Conduct production quality inspections, sampling, testing, and documentation.
• Review and approve labels, packaging, formulas, and specifications through established processes.
• Coordinate shipment of product demo samples to support field staff.
• Support supplier qualification, certification, and supplier quality programs.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and sanitation programs.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
