What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with day-to-day coding and billing tasks, reviewing documentation and charge entries to provide performance feedback
- Monitor coding and billing processes, addressing compliance issues as needed
- Evaluate charge capture and coding workflows for efficiency, making recommendations for improvements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes and requirements
- Provide education and support to clinical staff regarding documentation and coding guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have an Associate's degree or higher
- Minimum of 3 years of coding experience, preferably in a physician office
- Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-Based (CCS-P) or Certified Coding Associate (CCA) required
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial claims filing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Payor Value-Based Care
- FQHC experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
