Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking a Quality Technician - Chemist for our Hill's Tonganoxie facility in Kansas. You will own the analytical testing process from raw materials to finished products and support SAP processes while advancing quality systems.

Initial day shift training for 2–3 months, then transition to permanent shift. A BS in Chemistry or related field qualifies you for this role with strong analytical skills and attention to safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry, Food Science or related fields.
• Ability to work any work schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and EOHS requirements.
• Analyze ingredients and finished product for moisture, fat, protein, ash, and minerals.
• Perform peroxide value, free fatty acid, and mycotoxin testing.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and calibrations.
• Prepare samples for Third Party analysis.
• Contributes to CAPA and corrective action planning.
• Supports SAP processes for traceability and recalls.
