Job summary

Job&Talent in Greer is seeking a Production Operator Quality Control to work with Webasto on an assembly line. The role involves performing various production stages in small teams with clear instructions and close oversight.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of production processes, are comfortable using measurement tools like calipers, and can follow Standard Process Instructions. Weekend overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Must have foundational understanding of production technologies and processes.
• Familiarity with quality measurement tools, such as calipers.
• Ability to interpret and adhere to Standard Process Instructions.
• Able to perform the physical requirements of this position, including reaching items stored at heights up to 5 feet.
• Must not have worked at BMW Plant before, as we are not accepting rehires at this time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and checks on parts, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products following established work instructions.
• Perform precise gap and flushness evaluations and manage loading/unloading of modules from storage racks.
• Identify and elevate potential or actual non-conformities and deviations through the formal escalation protocol.
• Segregate suspect or defective parts and scrap; initiate containment, corrective actions, and the internal complaint procedure.
• Provide support for root cause analysis, warranty reviews, and general problem-solving initiatives.
